 Post subject: Another legal question.

A custom made tube for the 22xx . Since there are no markings, where does it stand legally regarding fps. Or for thhat matter, any custom made gun ?

as long as the length is there im sure you will be safe for non pistol standard . even with the 2240 /2250 tube id think no one would class it as a pistol if there is a stock and longer barrel . there must be thousand 2240 rifles and 2000 2289 rifles in ontario .

When the registry was here, it wasn't an issue to build and register a custom gun, they usually asked for a few photos and dimensions.... Now, who knows, but if it is obviously a rifle, not a handgun my GUESS would be you should be fine....

Yes deffinetly a rifle. 29 inches from the back of the breech to the end of the barrel. Add another 12 inches for the shoulder stock and it, ll be 41 inches over all. Derek vinyard will be making a 25 inch tube set up fo the 2260 hpa valve. But wkth no identifying marks or numbers, I wanted to be sure.
