Very sweet, Ernie. You don't happen to have a basement suite available for rent, do you? :)

That is a sweet range, I'd love to have a country home with a yard

What a peaceful looking place to calm oneself with some pneumatic meditation.

nice !!!

its open, but still in the forest...perfect

open space like that helps with illumination when your looking into a scope, which is an issue here since my range is just a corridor i made using my chainsaw :)

Hey Guys:
Thanks for the kind words!
Been a few of my grand kids learned to shoot on that range.
@edmonton^500 - I might have had a basement for rent until I looked at your avatar pic!! :lol:

A question for you long range shooters. Since I installed the 1000 fps spring in my Ruger Airhawk
my accuracy has dropped dramatically. Any suggestions?

Cheers;
Ernie T.

I don't claim any experience, but drawing on what I've read...

Have you chronied it to see how fast it is shooting your pellets? If it's going supersonic then I believe accuracy tends to go downhill, in which case moving to a heavier pellet which would likely travel slower might help a lot. I seem to recall the FT guys aim for about 850 fps.

@everhopeful:
Thank you for your input. I do not have a chrono so unable to verify fps but your advise certainly
makes sense. At my earliest opportunity I shall obtain better quality .177 pellets to try in my Ruger.
When this happens I shall post results here.
Thanks again;
Ernie T.
