I took mine apart and can't get it back together, well, I can't put spring back in, where does that spring go?

I only tried for about 2mins as I was in the middle of something just sort of fiddling around, but I guess thats what I get for not paying attention  :ANAL:

This video could also be helpful. Towards the end he shows how in two smart moves you can put that spring back. It's in German but it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the video links. I've tried winding a couple of replacement springs, but without the original spring specs it's been a crapshoot. Maybe someone who has a spring out (wink, wink) could post the length, diameter and wire size used in the stock spring... :D

Mozzieblue in his video shows this:

Outside Dia -3.18mm
Wire Dia -0.5 mm
Coils Per cm - 8
Rate - 4.42nm
About 5.5cm long

You can order an original one from: http://www.versandhaus-schneider.de/pro ... s_id/27770. It would be prudent to order 2.

Thanks, Rav-much appreciated.
Looks like The German site can hook me up for about $30-35 for 2 springs (the price of prudence), but I think I'll try winding some heavier wire first...

I haven't had the time to source the wire yet, but it's on my (long) list of things to do. I'm looking at #7 piano wire, which is a comparable (.019 ") diameter...

Mig wire is quite springy.
