Hey all,

So i recently picked up TR77 and wanted to add a few items. I think my only option is a clamp-on due to the lack of stock mounting instalments. The problem is that the Crosman TR77 NPS 495FPS has a shortened barrel and there seems to be a plastic material on the barrel to 22mm. The Bi-pod I ordered has a barrel range from 11mm - 19mm. So i attached some pictures in the hopes that someone could offer a mounting suggestion. My first thought was to sand?!? the barrel muzzle down.

This could get messy….

On that particular air rifle you are pretty limited on where to mount a bipod.
I found this pic on them web after a little Google searching;

It looks like it's mounted right after the shroud.

This rifle is different. I belive this TR77 is the spring version. Not the nitro piston version. As well. The barrel on this model has no plastic or composite material on the barrel. Look close at the barrel and muzzle in my pics. That's why I think I have to sand it down or file it down to reach the 19mm that the clamp on needs.

It's a pain in the but, but I have to get that bipod on!

Why not just modify the Bi-pod to fit, as opposed to messing with the barrel ?

I am not very knowledgeable with the bipod how would you suggest I do that? Is the clamp replaceable? Or am I using duct tape.

To be honest the clamp may fit but just roughly. I don't really want to force it, but maybe a new too clamp from a hardware store???? Any idea?

I picked up a bipod at the local paintball shop
It came with the weaver style bipod and a clamp that goes on a barrel and provides the weaver slots!!
