The Challenge:
10 loonies for 10 meters challenge:
Shoot qty 5 groups of 5 shots from 10 meters off hand, unsupported (not even your hip on the cabinet as I am told the term for that style is “cheating”!

The Gift for successfully meeting the challenge:
10 loonies off any Plinker Gunleather and Special Cases custom leather project courtesy of Edmonton<500

The Guidelines:
Draw five dime-sized circles on paper (spacing out as much a possible, and your page must be at least 6' x 6". Shoot five projectiles at each target (25 exactly). Use any air gun, but it must be fired offhand. As least one pellet must break each target circle, but your challenge is to shoot the tightest group you can (meaning the other four pellets need not touch the circle). In short, if you have five, dime-sized, five-shot groups where at least one pellet breaks each of the five circles, you have a successful entry.

Successful challenge takers must claim their acknowledgement gift by placing a leather order within 30 days of being declared a winner. Obviously this contest requires the integrity and honesty of the participants. Be sure to draw a dime-sized circle around your dime-sized groups (.71 inches).

Suggestion regarding equipment – be fair….if you have a gun that can do this at 100 meters perhaps try something else more challenging at this range. Mind you off hand un supported with a big arse gun may be challenge enough despite the range. Use your common sense in the spirit of the challenge please.

The Submissions:
Submit a photo of your successful target sheet to this thread and include:
• Date
• Equipment: rifle/pistol, caliber, sights, scope etc.
• Anything else you think we would like to know i.e. pellets, wind, seizures, poor eyes sight…. fatigue due to old age.

The timing:
GO!!!!

I decided to try the performance of my Crosman 70 on this challenge, not sure if successful, group no.2 on the limit. I leave it to the Plinkercases decision...

So, Crosman 70 with Leapers 3-12x40, pellets JSB Match 0.177, 10m offhand shooting

Murray east thinks it is clean.
Murray west can make the call as he is the sponsor of the challenge.

and wow.... nice shooting again.

it would be neat to know the weight of the various rifle shot off hand.

Nicely done! I just had a quick go off hand - I'm currently running 2 to 3 inch groups, so I have a lot of work to do!

Thank you, both Murrays! It was fun and it gives some meaning to our hobby!
I will try to improve off-hand with one of my springers, usually the second try go worse, may be other day, too tired today.
For the holster, I almost ready, will send you pics shortly, Plinkercases!

After really awful try number two (not completed) I decided to go to the try number three which was much better, but FAILED. Group 1 on the limit and group 2 OUT. :(
Decided to post anyway.
May be it is more difficult with springer
HW-30s with Bushnell 3-9x40, RWS Basic 0.177, offhand shooting at 10m
Now I must continue the challenge to prove myself I can do it... Or may be I just was lucky in the first time...

One shot of 25 barely out of the circle - that's some mighty fine offhand shooting - well done!
