So, further to my previous post regarding how/whether to put a rail on, this was the result.

This target was about 25 feet out, 10 shots with the dot sight after a bit of practice with different two-hand holds (no resting). As you can see there was one flyer but the rest were on target under an inch.
The scope is one of those Aim mini ones so the eye relief means it is not really for a pistol but I will have a go later an see what I can do. When the rest of my Ebay items arrive from China, I have a cunning plan to make a bipod for the front rail that won't get in the way of the barrel breaking. I am also trying to figure out how to make (and more to the point, attach...) a wire skeleton stock that will help with the scope.
Now let's just hope that rail stays put.

Yes indeed! I will post some more pics once I make the bipod and I think I have sussed out a way to attach a wire skeleton stock - if I am brave enough with the drill again.
