My local Canadian Tire is going into the PB business, starting mid-September. While in another gun shop, I spoke to the guy who will be running the firearms department (he was there to see about getting the lone proprietor to mount scopes for them once CT gets underway). He said now that non-restricted firearms don't have to be registered, it makes selling guns much less time consuming for a business like Canadian Tire. He said they will have a wide range of firearms, from entry level to top quality models, as well as a full selection of ammo.

The CND tire in Trail carries rifles and shotguns. There is no other 'gun shop' seems to me. Low priced $400.00 Savage Axis to over thousand dollar Weatherbys.

The CT on Macleod Trail has a pretty good line up of PBs, but refuse to sell any PAL rated air. In fact, the counter guy told me he wished they didn't carry any air stuff at all. Apparently, too much hassle with underaged buyers.

While I'm on the subject.....I really want that CX-4 Storm 9mm.

I suspect my local CTC will be swamped for those SKS .. some with laminated stocks, plenty of Mosin too & lemme tell ya friggin delicious .. lol
REALLY wishing I had some extra $ cause the way our Ruski friend is acting, there will be Zero Ruski stuff anywhere in North America.
I'd get one each .. the SKS comes with the bayonet attached!! ('meh' for me - I'd prolly take it off instantly)
Upon inquiry was reassured all SKS were chrome bolts & all serials matching. Yet the Mosin makes me drool .. serious ghillie suit stuff that.
I am however sure I will be picking up a .22, either the Savage Lakefield 64F for $139.00 or the MarkII bolt action for a few bucks more.
