Initial testing was getting 620fps on low power (first hammer notch)
Made a filler to channel more of the air pulse to the pellet and got these numbers.
Benji domes fill to 3000psi down to approx 1200psi
900 917 938 945 970 991 1003 1019 1031 1041 1065 1078 1091 1097 1104 1094
1092 1080 1073 1058 1043 1028 1013 991
24 powerful shots with 16 shots from 1019 to 1104 to 1013

Pulled the liner and refilled to 3000 143 grain round ball on high 2nd notch

756 774 794 813 819 820 809 793 774 748

Filled to 150bar and shot 2 balls 286 grains went 615fps for 241fpe

This should work pretty fair as a dual caliber, field ready rifle happy.gif

This conversion is a 45cal Ultra in tuned condition to which is added.
Muzzle fitting that keeps a 25cal liner inside the 45cal barrel.
At the breech a trough sits in the lower half of loading port held in place by the barrel
After loading a port filler is placed in the loading port to direct the pulse of air to the pellet.
So the 45 Ultra is unchanged and ready to go back to throwing big lead. Working better than
hoped so now to see how it throws 25 cal swaged bullets. 50 grains of lovin

Really KEWL conversion, Walter.... and I would guess pretty close to the same POI, just some fine tuning?....

Thank you Bob!

Had not thought of that but it may be decently close. Will confirm asap
25 sure seems accurate so far out to 50.
Need more shooting time. Want to have the bugs out of it by the next AIR-FT shoot :)
For fun just now shot a Benji at full power...... went sonic .......
