I would also suggest including solid instructions for first timers. I almost ended up taking an orientation in the clubhouse, after being told in the clubhouse when I arrived that I would have to do so before shooting anything on site.

Just a simple "turn right after the caretaker's house (just past the stop sign), and park next to the archery range. Leave your guns in your car until you have gone through a safety rundown" would make it nice and clear.

Hopefully I can drag some more of the Vancouver members out for next time I'm out, which I would hope will be the next shoot!

By the way ,those instructions have been posted several times by Biagio

Well, I couldn't find them. It would be much easier just to have it in the post for the reminder.

Hey guys, just to further what Kelly posted.

"So I was thinking:
Would a new shooter safety run through for 9:00 am. help speed things up
then 9:30 am.shooters meeting
10:00 am sighting
11:00 am target setup
shoot until 3:00 pm.
target pickup to follow "

I like that format, but I might change it slightly:

Gates open at 9
9:30 sign in and new shooter orientation
10:00 lane setup
10:30 sight in
11:00 shooter meeting and F/T shoot, 2 rounds
1:30 lane cleanup
2:00 plinking ect

Feed back guys?

Hi Mauritz

I like the second option. That seems pretty good. See you guys at the end of the month. That will be on the 30th of November.

See you guys, by hook or by crook.

Thanks

Biagio
