The .22 pouch works awesome, did you get the square .177 one done? There are pics just I didn't take them. I used the Dynamax I won at the nationals it shot great the scores were real close all around.

Yes...I had a great time and the weather wasn't too bad. Chili was great as well. My first time to see FT and it was fun...and I got a scuba tank so I can shoot my new disco. Thanks to Tim and everyone else for a great day and some great info.

Beaudy!!!

But who is who?

And when you are competing like that what size reducers do you use on the kill zones and at what distances with the knock down squirrels etc.?

I grabbed this info from the CAFTA site

Here is a bit more information on the guidelines we use for Hit Zone sizes when shooting FT rifle:

Sub 500fps matches:
3/8" - up to 15 yards
1/2" - up to 20 yards
3/4" - up to 25 yards
1.0" - up to 30 yards
1.5" - up to 35 yards

In the past, at sub 500fps matches, we've kept the target distances to within 35 yards.

For PAL rated matches:
1/4" - up to 15 yards
3/8" - up to 20 yards
1/2" - up to 25 yards
3/4" - up to 35 yards
1.0" - up to 45 yards
1.25" - up to 50 yards
1.50+" -up to 55 yards

Standing and kneeling shots are typically always 1.50+" BUT this may change to match the WFTF rules of 1" out to 20 yards and 1.5" out to 40 yards.

At the Fudd match, it has traditionally been no hit zone smaller than one inch. One of the guys setting up lanes forgot that and we ended up with one .375" zone and one .5" zone.

The stress at the Fudd is fun and it is more fun knocking targets down. The long ones out at 45 to 55 yards have all the difficulty we need. Even the top guy failed to knock down a target 15 times, so it is plenty difficult. Add to the long shots the fact that you have to estimate the range and they are tough.

The fun part, I know we achieved with the great group that showed up to participate. If laughter was the gauge of the fun, we were way up there.

This is always the most fun of all the shoots. I know there is always some guy out there heckling the heck out of people LOL. For those who missed out you missed a great time and good food. To Tim and Angie Thanks So Much you make it feel like family and that means a lot. I know Tim will post, but there is a fun shoot next month maybe some of those that missed this would come out and join us then.

Great stuff Mac thanks for that.... I like how it looked like it took 4 guys to figure out how to make the rice!
What a beautiful spot and day.
Nice scores too.

Next time maybe try to get a group shot then a whose who left to right kind of thing. It would be nice to start to put faces to names without getting there in person. Only guy I know for sure was Chris.. because I recognized your pellet pouch!!
