Does anyone know the size of the o ring that fits inside the detent/nose housing on the front of the valve? There is a groove for an o ring but when I opened the gun it was missing. I just purchased the gun and shot some pellets over the chrony, 380 fps average and about 3 clips worth of shots with 7.3gr. There was co2 leaking from the magazine area. I seen a seal kit online but do not want to pay that much. I am hoping to find one at crappy tire or local plumbing store...... Is there anything else I should do to to my 1077 while it is apart? I am going to attempt to recrown the barrel as I can not find pellets that group well. I cleaned the barrel and it grouped better but not good enough for me. I know this is not a super accurate gun but hopefully i can improve it a bit.

My recommendation is to pm hacked2pieces, he may know the answer, has a wood version of the 1077 and the man loves to tinker (in case he doesn't see this thread)
Fyi, I only get 4 clips per cartridge, so you're not too far off. As for speed, I don't have a chrony to measure mine but I don't think these shoot a lot more than what you got. As for accuracy, I find mine pretty accurate. Maybe the crowning may be a good investment, if yours isn't giving you a tight group. Good luck.
