When i load a pellet it appears that every time i close the chamber the tiny level that allows you to choose between live fire and dry fire is in a limbo mode by default. It is almost fully in the live fire mode but not quite. Its not in dry fire either. Every time i have to press it in just a little more to fully engage it to fire. How can this be fixed?

Do you have your owner's manual?
Might be a weak spring or worn detent on the lever or detent itself.

From all the pictures I see its the little toggle on the left side near the breach. I am sure you are not accidentally touching it when cocking the breach door. But maybe holding it in dry fire when you cock would hold it? How old is the gun? Is there a FWD distributor in Canada you can talk to or send the gun too?

Thanks but the responses are not the help i was looking for. Its like asking someone if they have tried pressing the power button when troubleshooting electonics. Yes i am aware of all the simple things people are saying. It appears no one that has read this so far has a similar pistol
