Has anyone used the boss buddy transfer port on their 2240?
If so how much fps gain do you get from it.

I doubt you'd see much gain, if any, unless you also bored out the valve and the barrel port to match the boss buddy port inside diameter. After that it's just a matter of calculating the increased diameter as a percentage to get a rough idea of flow increase. Of course you'll still need to factor in valve body volume, whether you're using CO2 or HPA, barrel length, pellet weight, calibre, etc. It's impossible to make safe generalizations about what one change will accomplish without declaring all the other parameters for a rational comparison. But yeah, just changing port tubes isn't likely to do much. Those tubes are designed to go along with other changes.

Not to mention more power = less shots.

That t/p is to be used with the boss valve and you can expect to lose 10 to 15 shots per co2 cylinder and you will be turning your 2240 into a restricted gun

That is exacticaly it. And as Gerald put it there are other factors of what is all done to take in consideration. But in 2260 format and a PAL. The fun has a legal useage...jmo

2260 tubes are cheap from Eric. Keeps me from restricting a great gun build because it is a "Pistol."
