Hey all!!! I found your site while researching for my first pcp rifle. Been reading for a few weeks and decided to join. Ordering a cometa lynx .22 ASAP. And already trying to figure out my next move when my PAL gets in.

I'm from Drumheller. Been shooting air rifles since a kid but haven't for the last 5 years. Spent a ton of time hunting prairie dogs with my 760 pumpmaster as a boy. My son just got his first pellet gun (Santa was good) and I decided to get back into it as well. Look forward to being a member and learning from everyone here.

Cheers,
Jay

I've read some of your posts on the lynx. They helped push me more in the direction of that particular rifle. Look forward to your insight Walter and thanks for the welcome.

Jay

Thanks Whitewolf! Where do you guys hold your shoots? Everyone here is all about the powderburners. I'd love to go to an airgun shoot.

Currently shoots can happen in Olds, Didsbury, or Calgary. There is tobe a shoot in Calgary pending the first Saturday of February. PM Castle2 or Rocker45 for more details. Be great to see you come out.

Thanks Megiddo! I think I'm more excited for my son than he is. Shooting with my dad are some of my best memories growing up. If only I could get the old geezer into airguns too lol.

It would be amazing if you could convince your Father to shoot airguns. That way you'll have a merging of 3 generations in one sport. Having the privilege to shoot with my Dad when I was young is something I'll cherish for the rest of my life; just wished my Grandpa was still alive when I started learning.

Dad hasn't shot for a few years now. He walks with a walker and isn't too mobile. But hopefully when it warms up I can at least get him out to do some plinking with my son and I. My grand father was an avid hunter and I always wished I could have gotten the chance to be in the field with him as well. Maybe one day I'll be out with my grandkids (but boy I hope not for atleast a few decades lol) and my son. :)
