Not sure if the policy at my local Sabic is the same across the country, but out here the Coquitlam branch doesn't allow drop-in counter sales. Strictly internet and phone orders. I had to make a credit card purchase on the phone, talking over sizes and such (was ordering another technical plastic rod as well) and finalizing the price, then go in the next day to pick it up. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just saying, so you don't waste a visit. They had black or white Delrin by the way, and a loading dock guy noticed I was interested in their scrap bin so he let me have a couple of lengths of 3/4" x 2" UHMW polyethylene, cut-offs from some other order.

For what I want, the scrap bin might be perfect.
