Hi Everyone,

Just realised I signed up months ago but never introduced myself. Been living in Burlington, Ontario for over 30 years, as a kid I owned an East-European under-leaver, my pride and joy.

As kids and when not in school we were usually kicked out of the house in the morning and expected back just in time to wash-up for supper. Me, my dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and five other neighbourhood kids, everyone had a pellet riffles, a pocket knife, matches and a water bottle. We were active, explored and hunted, we got cuts, scrapes and bruises but no one ever go shot and we always had fun. We were all pretty good at shooting Eucalyptus tree seed pods at +25 yards some were a lot better, it's not easy to shot quarter sized targets swinging in the wind! We hunted poisonous snakes which my dog was an expert at finding and occasionally we got some pigeons... Yes we did, we knew how to clean then and done over a bed of very hot wood embers, they were delicious!

As you can see, I am reliving my youth :) Anyway, been out of the hobby for over 40 years but decided to get back in and introduce my kids to the fun I had as a kid, we got our PLAs last fall and recently joined a range... Both have taken to shooting like ducks to water, even my wife's beginning to show some interest!

Okay, rambling a lot more that I wanted to, a great forum and a great group of gunners. Happy to be here :)

Hi, Marc - welcome to the CAF!

Glad to hear that you are back into air gunning after a long absence.

With your PAL it opens up a whole world of choices.

Sounds like it will be a family activity - which will create wonderful lasting memories for your kids.

Enjoy your stay here - lots of helpful people; so if you have any questions - ask away!
