Is the V75 Viton O-ring harder then the Buna 70 ? Is it safe to use at 3000psi ?

Perfectly safe and a way better product for HP. Just be sure the harder the durometer of an oring, it does require some oring lube upon it for installation. Buna being so soft can be installed dry, but a poor life expectancy.

As mentioned...fine for use.

70D buna will surprise you from time to time...that's what I put in my booster pump initially...fully expecting them to not last long...in particular the rod seal. But, they are still going.

90D Urethane waiting in the drawer for the day when the buna gives up.

Use the 70D buna in my pcp's...has yet to cause me grief, but YMMV.

Viton perfectly fine been using for 24 years on high pressure areas such as cylinders and regs over the usual Nitrile.
Buna really cheap don't bother pay about 1% more and have Nitrile.
Viton usually around 3 times dearer than nitrile but do last well in excess of three times longer than nitrile.
