I have returned back to air guns. As a child I saved my hard earned money to buy a Crosman American classic pump pistol with the long stock.
Loved that gun!

Now much later in life I enjoy target shooting again.
I have a few firearms. An old Lee Enfield full wood stock. And recently a Winchester Model 94 30-30.

My everyday shooter is a Beeman 1040 duel barrel series rifle that needed a lot of trigger work and greasing to become a decent shooter. The trigger out of the box was far to stiff. Now it's ok.
It's a nice shooter.

A short while later I bought a Hatsan Model 25 pistol. Not the nicest looking gun... ha ha But it's very accurate and fun to shoot.

Next purchase a few weeks ago was a Hatsan model 55 .177 1000ft/sec.
So far I have shot over 800 pellets through this one.
Tons of power. It's my first high powered air gun. I'm very impressed with this one.
The only things that I would say could be improved on is the noise. It's loud.
And it's a little difficult to break the barrel down to load.
The Walnut stock looks great. And it's very accurate.

I don't know what I'll buy next? I have wanted a Diana Model 34 for a while.
Or maybe a nice Benjamin rifle?

Hello and welcome to the forum. My suggestion is to go for the Diana 34. Hard to beat for the price.

Hi notec,
I'm in Fredericton.

I have been watching the for sale section for a while now.
I was hoping to see more air guns go up for sale?

Hi quickreply7789,
You are correct. This hobby can get out of hand. I just ordered a Crosman Vigilante from Amazon yesterday. ha ha

Hi dannyp

i'm moving very close to Fredericton mid april, i currently shoot on my own property but that wont be the case down there as i'll be renting, in my opinion it won't good place to do that as the neighbors are quite close, i may need your knowledge of the area to guide me to an appropriate place, and who knows maybe get together down there with other airgun aficionados for a meet :D

Paul

p.s. i have a few rifles you can try, including a Diana 34 and an HW 97 which i'm sure you'll find interesting :)

Welcome to the forum and to our addiction :D

I don't know of many shops in the Fredericton area that sell airgun related items. Most of us shop online rather than shopping at Cdn Tire or WalMart.
Cabellas in Moncton has a nice selection but not great prices. I've purchased some of my airguns from other forum members, some from Facebook sales groups and from online stores. I've purchased accessories like sights and scope mounts from Amazon.ca but never an airgun. Maybe I should look their site over. I've had my eye on a Crosman Vantage NP available on Amazon.ca.
