Just got LW barrel blank and as understand it the stamped end (caliber, C) is the choked end? But for fun I slugged it and the tightest spot on this one is just shy of inch on the other end. So did I get that wrong or did rifling (botton) process stretch the barrel on that end. Do go with stamped end and just lop off the inch; it's hard tell if the stamped end is choked where the other end is tighter.
Although its tempting to cut shorter than planned and have two chocked barrels. Assuming the stamped end is choked??

I have a .25 LW blank and it is also choked on the non-stamped end (same as yours).

I asked a gunsmith buddy of mine about it (just to make sure) and he said that every LW barrel he's worked on was choked this way (the stamped end is the breech end).
