Very nice work/product but as the current thread here re. bullpup rifles (topic67485.html) would they be legal in Canada?

Very sexy indeed and I'd personally love one but "big bro" here has a HUGE say in what we can do and I am hoping others will chime in... Ahem... LOL

They are prohibited here and would be seized at the border.

Yep, sorry but BullPup Stocks are a Prohibited item here in Canada, the same in the eyes of the law as owning a machine-gun....

Airguns are firearms in Canada, it's just that if under 500 fps they don't require a PAL (licence), but all the other laws apply.... Pity, but that's the law....

Wow. I'm not usually a big fan of the bullpup format, but that looks really good.

Wouldn't it be rather hard to cock the rear-bolt marauder? The side lever (Hatsan?) looks like a better bet from a usability point of view. A semi-auto would be just wonderful...

Wow this is great work my friend.

Isnt the law has to do with the lenght of barrel and the action must be innoperable when the stock is removed?

I am just guessing here ...
Alex

Length of barrel has nothing to do with it, provided it is over the minimum to be considered non-restricted. The stock must be integral to the design, which then doesn't even qualify as a stock, but more of a housing for parts.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it. You cannot add any production firearm to a bullpup stock. By doing so you 1) shorten the length by 2) moving the receiver/magazine/loading port behind the trigger.

Like what has been said.....if it doesnt come from an approved manufacture as a Bullpup rifle. A improvised stock is a prohibitive weapon under Canuck law.
