I have the 4-16 and it says 15yds on the scope but it actually is quite clear,(not perfect), but certainly usable at my 9yd indoor range.

Is that at 4X or 16X at 9 yards?.... Most scopes are fine at below the minimum range if you dial the magnification back, as the depth of field increases.... The 3-12X Varmints are marked down to 10 yds. and clear at 12X at that range.... I've always wondered about the 4-16X's....

thanks for all the help guys.
this was a pretty sweet deal- from a great guy.
nice disco- with lots of mods already done, a really nice Ft type walnut stock, a good pump, plus all the spares- scope rings etc etc( old stock and all sorts of old parts)

stock is ambidextrous- cheek piece on both sides
now just got to get a scope for her- been looking at the hawke varmint- as a starting point.
then to find one of the side wheels to fit on the parralax knob- to help with the ranging gradations etc

heard there was someone on here 3D printing them.

thanks all

Any idea who the stock maker is? Very nice liking piece of walnut!
