What's the gun in the second photo? Very interesting looking.

For me, I have a sleeve of JSB Jumbo Heavy on the way! That should be enough to last me until late summer. Ordered from the forum store. I love those pellets.

A Transformers gun. My 5 year old would love that.

My son turns 9 next month and his early birthday present is arriving tomorrow with Canada Post - an IZH-61 rifle. Just got in from a long day outside and checked tracking. Yup, got into town this morning. It'll probably get delivered while he's in school and I'll get the 6x Bug Buster mounted and zeroed before he gets home. Kid is SOOOOOO excited! Me too a little. Okay, a lot. He liked HFT so much with an over-sized rifle, but this thing should fit him well enough that he can actually shoot standing up instead of resting it on a stool.

Hi Gerard, at least your boy will get to shoot the gun - mine would only take this neat contraption apart and back on again and pretend he's Bumble Bee. Boys and Transformers...
Good for you for getting him such a nice b-day gift. Sure he'll love it. It is nice to see starting them young, so they learn to respect and care for the gun. And be far less likely to do something stupid. Mine is still a few years away from shooting but already realizes that guns are not toys. Well, not my guns. The one the OP has would sure fool him.

I shot my new 2240 fof the first time yesterday and I can see the need for fiber optic front sight, I'll probably skip that and just scope it :)

and notice that My Hatsan 25 .22cal. has been shipped, just popped up!
