Our first shoot of 2015 will be Sunday, May 31.

If you haven't been out to a shoot yet and don't have a rifle, come out anyway and borrow a
gun. For those of you with a foster fitting on your PCP gun, I'll have my HPA tank with a
Foster and Hammerli fittings there for refills.

We will start setting up at 8:30, do some sighting in and try to start the match by 10:00. Based on the mosquito population at present, I think we'll just use the open field for this one as the woodlot will likely be swarming with bugs. PM me if you need directions.

We will have have 10 lanes with a total of 60 shots and we will toss in a standing and a
kneeling lane for the main match. If you're bringing targets, please have them freshly painted
with KZ that are a contrasting colour.

In addition to your gun and pellets please bring along a pen, clipboard , stopwatch and
something to sit on (cushion or pad, not a chair) for the many seated shots. If you want to do
sighting in please bring along a carton with targets attached. If you cut a couple of holes in
the carton on one side near the bottom, you can run a string through the holes and then pull
the target closer to you to check your elevation settings without needing a cease fire for
everyone.

There will be a couple of airguns that people can borrow, and several fancy FT rifles to check
out.

If you are bringing a PAL gun with you, remember your firearms licence.

Really sorry I couldn't make it. Would have been nice to meet the other Ottawa shooters. Next time for sure (sanctioned by wife).

It was a hoot. Looks like the next match will probably be held the third week of June. We will also be holding some weekday practices between now and then. Check out the OFTA Facebook page for details: https://www.facebook.com/groups/175847815942862/

Right! I say you posting some pics of your FT rig there. Sweet looking setup. I hope you can get out to some of the shoots and practice sessions. It would be great to meet you.

I just almost died 4 weeks ago, had a major heart attack at work, I was urgently operated for a double bypass, { thanks Royal Victoria in Montreal }
Recuperation time is very long and hard pain is constant. it's just hard to live now so hobbies are on hold.
But I'm here on the forum many time a day so I still have the passion for FT and air guns.
I did not want to bore you all with my life drama but... here it is.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Frank. The toll from such an event is more than just physical -- been there. Take your time, take your meds, and take your respect for the message sent through your "event" to the highest level. You will feel better soon.

All the best.

Great shots. Can you identify any CAF members in your photos?
