Anyone experience this in their diana side lever rifle? The cocking lever goes all the way but when returning it while the "bear trap" is depressed, it doesn't want to go back to its original position. To return the lever, you have to squeeze the trigger while holding on to it while someone is pressing the bear trap. I know this is kind of scary but that's the only way to bring back the lever down.

Any input/ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ariel

So basically something is hanging up the triggers internals and pulling the trigger frees it up? I don't suppose you took it apart? Lots of people have issues getting them back together correctly. Or it could be a factory defect, like a burr, broken spring, who knows.
Attached is a couple pix of a T06 trigger fyi. It's from a 350 so the bear trap dealie will be different, but the trigger assy itself should be the same. Maybe helpful if you take it apart or for troubleshooting.
