Hi guys,

I'm new to airguns. Recently purchased a few. I'm considering shooting in competitions. I enjoy the sport a lot. Would appreciate any suggestions about competitions. I live in Ontario. Cheers! :D

Hi - welcome to the CAF!

Tell us a bit more about yourself - what air guns do you currently have; where in Ontario do you live; what sort of competitions are you hoping to shoot in?

The more we know; the better we can help you.

:)

I own an AKS-74U, Echo and a host of others. I just buy them when I get the chance to. I live in Ottawa. Which competition would suit a beginner like me. I can see you are a pro in airgunning. Your advice would be nice to get. Thanks.

Do tell me more about these air guns - .177 or .22; break barrel or Co2?

Welcome and I hope you find what you are interested in. I do think you may be looking for airsoft games/milsims judging by the gun you mentioned in your first post. This is really more of an airgun versus airsoft forum (yup... fuzzy line but there it is). However, there are great airsoft forums around. I am sure someone here may chime in and point you in the right direction if that is really what you are looking for.

Beeman P17 Air Pistol/IZH 46M Match Air Pistol

These are two good choices for beginning target pistols.

The P17 can be found for about $70 on-line; and 46M is about $300 or so.
