They're almost .... but the 280 spring looks like different metal than 34.

D280 spring is also recommended for F-type version of D48 , D52 and D54.

Say Dan, is that the D280 12fpe version of spring and do you now stock them.

Just wondering if you have tried that 280 spring in a 280 yet, the reason I'm asking is 36 is a lot of coils and when I had tried a spring with that many my rifle wouldn't cock. The spec. I got from Diana said 31.5 coils with 3.1mm wire and 20.5mm outside diameter. Just wanted to share this with you. That's what I have now and it's working very well, just under 12fpe. with most pellets.
