Hi All
I put a new spring in my HW 45. Once I got it all reassembled I was able to get one shot off, then it would not set again on the next attempt to cock it. The overlever (upper assembly) travels all the way forward but the spring wont set for the next shot. I took it apart again and repositioned all the internals they way I thought they should be and again, cocked it like usual, one normal shot, then next attempt to cock and no catch to set the spring. I have looked online to see if there are any good tutorials (videos) that show what I may be missing and no luck. If any of you are able to give me advice, i'd appreciate it. Otherwise, if there are any airgunsmiths out there I may have to use your services.
Thanks,
Rae

You may want to try Len at webleyguy@gmail.com

He is honest and a fine airgunsmith. His rates are totally fair as well.

I got it fixed. Turns out it needed a stronger safety rod spring. Shoots like new again :D
