Nice and simple, 75 yard fun shoot. Post your results at 75 yards. All types allowed.

Here is the target i usually use on 8.5x11" paper.

Wish I could join in... but the only 75 yards line of sight I have around here would put the target up against the wall of my son's school gym and me shooting from the kitchen porch. Don't think I'd get away with that. As in S.W.A.T. team showing up to the party and such. Oh well, next time I get out to Mission for FT, in May maybe, I'll see if I can fit one of those targets way, way up the hill off to one side of the plinking range. There's a spot up at the tree line that's just over 70 metres. Good luck guys.

All rifles welcome. Yes certainly bipods suggested, no score limitations, take 5 shots

Finally getting the chance to upload my picture now that i'm at work! LOL!

Here are my groupings. Working on getting a better set of 5 next time but this is my starting entry. Using JSB Exact 8.44gr and my NVD.

Best shot i got of the distance meter was 71m (about 75 yards) it's a cheaper distance meter and can't read very good during stronger daylight. Until I can afford a good quality range finder :)

The Target 8.5x11 sheet
Image

Setup (on right hand side) sorry for crappy picture)
Image

15cm CTC (promise i'll do better by end of summer. This was my first outing)
Image

71.0m target from ground

Took my 5 shots from a stock rest. Not using bipod. Ground was not level and shooting from ground level prone wasn't possible in this shooting location. Wind was 0-8.6km/h (anemometer) no preceding test shots were taken. Optic was set at 10x magnification. Optic was sighted at 25 yards and thus i was aiming about 6 to 7" high (about 1" above the top of the sheet) First shot, the top hole in the 2 was a miscalculation in slight on my part, i thought i'd need to hold about 10" high... i was wrong lol

Just got a whole whack of rain but I will play when it dries up a bit. See what the D350 Magnum will do.

Jeez. 75 yards! I'd want to pack a lunch before setting out to set my target up. 75 feet would be a stretch for me... But you guys go ahead - I'll watch.

This will be lots of fun! Gerard, we'll test it out in May. That's gonna be WAY up the hill. I'll just go off of NFG's monopod.
