I have a Crosman 2240 and having troubles. After 10 years of great performance, I've run into issues.

Long story short:

1) "compression chamber" as I call it (valve body, part# 2250-010) cracked. (2weeks ago)
2) couldn't find a new one in Canada. (I live about an hour north of Toronto)
3) friend who was in the states got me the new part
4) this morning, we fixed the pistol. Performed great but then the seal around the piercing pin blew out, causing the CO2's to leak out rapidly. This happened on our 4th CO2 cartridge change. We think we caused it by over-tightening the CO2 cap screw(?)

Now I need a new seal. Where can I get one? I was so excited this morning and now I'm all upset and bummed out. Time for a beer!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to order the seal kit yet. But I used a piece of refrigeration hose gasket as a temporary fix. The OD of the gaskets is the same, but the new gasket has a much larger ID. Shoots much louder. But works! The pop cans aren't going to enjoy what will go down tomorrow!
