Looking at more goodies for my 2240.

Note, that eBay listing is only the breech insert, not the entire breech....

It uses the well proven MRod magazines, which function flawlessly.... The only time you will have a problem is if you don't pull the bolt back far enough to cock the gun, in which case it will feed a second pellet when you operate the bolt again.... You can avoid loading two pellets by removing the magazine when you realize you didn't cock the gun.... This is not a problem with the breech, or magazine, it is operator error....

Performance:
X2 to Bob's assessment.

Comments:
These are very expensive kits, and instantly turn your $80 gun into a $400+ gun. Add a decent barrel and you've got a $500+ gun. Add a beautiful and very reasonably priced joe hickey stock (wait in line please!) and you've got a $650-$700 carbine. A few pieces of bling (muzzle brake, trigger shoe, bolt handle, RVA, etc.) turn it into a $800-$850 carbine. I'm guessing there might be quite a nice airgun out there for that kind of money - one that's legal over 500 fps.

Having said that, I bought two of the kits. Gotta love 22xx modding!

I already got $700 in it now, so $300 more CDN will bring the price up to over $1000, and not done yet, got a few more ideas

Any one know the O ring size that the barrel fits into, I damaged mine a bit taking the barrel out to clear a jammed pellet. It had a sharp edge where the hole was, fixed that and it's ok now, but want some spare O rings. Does it take a special O ring.
I like it, but jammed pellets twice, don't let any one use it who does not know how to operate it, like cocking it all the way back.

Make sure the barrel is right up against the inside of the block! They could be not making it into the barrel and jamming.
