I was wondering if www.pyramydair.com was a trusted site, and also if they accept paypal if anyone has bought off of them. If there is a thread about the site already please give me the link, I would appreciate very much. Im looking to get a first gun, I just was a spring loaded one with plastic .15g - .20g I saw that the site had amazing deals on Rifles and Pistols that I have never seen on any of the sites...on al the sites ive previously looked at there guns are much over $100 and #200 U.S.

and please dont say anything about walmart, I do not want a really crappy one...I just saw some airsoft ones on there that seemed pretty good for that cheap of money.

why is there such a difference though in prices from pyramyd air and the 007 site? like the AEG and GBB and Spring loaded ones on pyramyd air are a huge amount less, there a few the same price but most of them are under 100 and they look like the ones on 007???

I am really confused, I dont know if pyramyd air is legit and those are actual prices or they just did that to confuse people like me and sucker them into buying there.

This is because pyramyd airguns are AMERICAN, and 007 Airsoft is CANADIAN. I can also help you a bit more if I knew where you lived. Please post your location in your profile please.

Try this site for better help:

We are an airgun site, not a airsoft site so we can't give you all the help you need. Some people here can, but that are just certain individuals.

I live in British Columbia, Canada...and $600 CAD doesnt turn out to be around $100-$200 USD

I had previously viewd that airsoft canada site, and there were a few posts that told not to post crap about guns that hold BBs. On pyramyd air I understand that most of them are bbs.

I am feeling abit confused about all this airgun, airsoft, air rifle stuff too...

I got the impression that airguns were more like pyramyd air .20g bbs and airsoft were copper pellets.

ok bb guns shoot steel or copper .177 shot (bb's) pellet guns shoot pellets and airsoft guns shoot plastic 6mm bb's the reason the canadian ones are so much more is for a couple reasons the ones pyramide sells are likly cheap knock offs of the top of the line ones and if there arnt ( i havnt looked at them on that site) candian dealers have to pay alot more fees just to get tehm into the country

thanks alot for clearing it up, I looked at links from a view sites to stores they bought off of and I get the categories.. all the air rifles and pistols were under category of Air Gun and the C02/GG/and Springers were under Airsoft, a few of the airsoft ones can shoot both Plastic BBs and Copper pellets.

very much FOR YOUr assistance!! and sorry for taking up your time

http://pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/show.pl?cmd_pellets=show

Bottle of copper .177 BBS
http://pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/pellet.pl?pellet_id=106

Air Rifle that has some copper ammo you can buy under the ammo link in the item description box..and this gun is less than $100 USD
http://pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/model.pl?model_id=541

Ammo Page for Airsoft plastic BBS .12, .20, .25
http://pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/show_nece ... NEW&Type=3

Airsoft Guns
http://pyramydair.com/airsoft/

=======
I went looking at the Minor Licenses for guns on the canadian law and government site, and the only air guns that are considered a Firearm and that you need a license for are the ones that have a high muzzle velocity like 500FPS and have a high muzzle energy like 5.7Joules or higher. So most of the Air Rifles at the site that would be used for hutning, I would have to get a minors license or borrow an adults Powerful Airgun around his supervision...but the Airsoft Guns are no wear near 500fps and would need no license or supervision, just a guardian that would be responsible if I caused damage. So im thinking of buying a gun real soon :D and I thank you again

One more question lol,

Say your over 18 and you buy a Air Rifle with 500FPS and you only want to do target and stuff and play with buddies but no hunting...do you have to pay to get one of those firearm licenses and register the airgun?

you can find all the legal answers here
http://www.airgunforum.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5929

in short no for the most part a airgun that shoots less then 500 fps you dont need a license for target shooting and one more thing that i feel you may be confused about

with airsoft all bbs are 6mm the other measure of them is weight and it is in grams i blv so when you see the .20 .25 etc it is the weight where as in pellets and roundballs they have a weight measure and a calibre measure the main cals for airguns are .177, .20, .22, .25 .50 and they come in various weights

again thankyou, you have cleared everything , now I just need to go online or locally and find either an Airsoft gun or an Air gun to register to do small wildlife hutning or both :D
