Awesome!
I have a .22 barrel pulled from a P1322 that I would love to mod into a P17. Is the only work needed on this to machine away a little bit of the metal around the area where the barrel is clamped down?

I believe at the muzzle end also

I find the trigger on my HW40 to be light, really light.
Does the P17 also have a light trigger?

Sorry to rehash an old thread, but I have just purchased a mint condition HW40 for 150 bucks. I have shot thousands of pellets through my Marksman 2004 (same as the P17) for over 10 years now. The HW40's trigger is incomparable; a true 2 stage, finely - machined trigger pull.

lol things regarding the P17 / HW40 / P3 is never old ~ I shoot them almost every single day ~

The HW40 is not only have a better trigger but also a over all better quality and materials... As someone here mentioned before too, with a P17, it shoots very good, but you need to be handy and keep taking care of it, but for a HW40, just shoot the hell out of it and you never need to worry anything else except buying new pellets ~ I have my same case here!
