I was just checking out the new products in at Pyramyd Air and saw that they're carrying a Schofield BB replica.

I'm a big fan of that pattern.

I've reached out to Airgun Source to see if they're going to be carrying them. Waiting for a reply.

Very cool. Decent price.

dam;dam. that is a nice one. I knew that when the western style guns started coming out that the floodgates would open up. I didn't wan;t to buy anymore guns because I hardly shoot the ones I got. but; I like the looks of this one so it's probly a gotta have for me. and this ain;t the end of them. guaranteed. [ I still see a affordable Winchester repeater bb or pellet rifle] coming soon; very soon.

Pete,

I'm hoping someone comes out with a Colt 1851 Navy, a Sharp's Carbine, or a Colt M1892 revolver (even though it's more WW1 than Old West).

K.

they will ----I;ve said it before ; if they can make these in airsoft; you can bet that they are probably making them right now or soon in steel bb or pellet versions.

would be nice to know if the Colt SAA shells fit this. doesn't look like it. These seem to take the bb at the front in a rubber tip....
Hmmm..... hard to resist..... must wait for more information....

X2 on that, Murray.

Looks very cool, but definitely has a couple of risk factors, especially since the info is in standard vague. First, another pistol with possible proprietary shells (with no apparent available extras), and second, a breakaway revolver, introducing a highly breakable point on the pistol. I definitely want to know where Umarex had this made, and by whom.

....The Webley MarkVI is a breakaway revolver.....but it's build quality is no doubt better, so is the Crosman 357 and it holds up just fine if not abused..........I wouldn't think that's an issue.........

Here's the "manufacturer's" website or at least the importers?

If you zoom in on the Pyramyd Air pic you'll see this website in the warning copy and that it's made in Taiwan.

Not sayin' breakaway pistols are bad - just that they have a very vulnerable area, especially in replicas using lower-grade materials. I agree the 357 is a great gun, but can't agree that its execution of the breakaway is as good as the pistol. I've lost two to that weak point from use, not abuse. I jerry-rigged the second failure so it still works, but my third is in the cabinet, still in the box. It may not be an issue, but it's still a weak point.

"Manufacturers" in quotes is very appropriate: © 2016, Bear River Outdoors, Bear River Holdings, All Rights Reserved

Don't know of a gunmaker who would go under the label of a holding company. Did you notice the void of information under all the other tabs in the menu bar? I did, and I also noticed there is no About Us tab.

Still a mystery as far as I'm concerned.

Shows MKVI shells as accessories on Pyramid site?
