I think I screwed up the air fill connector on my FX Royale 500.
Didn't get the fill hose all the way on - it popped out, whacked my arm and now can't fill air.
I suspect it pulled the quick fill connector out, although it doesn't seem to be leaking air.
I could probably fix it myself, but it's a new airgun, hits the bull every time and I'm worried I might mess something up fixing it.
I could send it back to Air Gun Source, but won't see the gun again for a month or two.

So I'm looking for a good pcp airgun gunsmith who's close by. I'm on Vancouver Island, but could travel to the right person in the Vancouver area.

If it's leaking when you try and fill it, you probably blew the O-ring out of the female Foster fitting.... assuming it had one....

I am in Victoria, but not a PCP gunsmith by any means. I can send you some O-rings to try out if you let me know the ID and OD and thickness.

Hi Rick!
thanks for responding!
Sorry I'm so slow responding. The farm has been overwhelmingly busy. It's that season.
Correct! It blew out the O ring on the foster fitting. Tremendous relief because I didn't want to send the gun back to Ontario and not see it for a month or two.
It's shooting so well now. Barely sips air. Air tanks last FOREVER with this gun. Don't wanna change anything!

It's a Crossman Scuba Yoke. I'm thinking I might just take the braided hose off my Ninja tank (which needs to go back to Airgunsource because it doesn't fill to 3000. Ninja must have screwed up the washers in the tank). While all this is going on I think I'll buy a 3 foot hose from AirTanksForSale - that guy Joe's site. Maybe a cascading setup. Just wondering, do you know what kind of sealant I should use when connecting the new hose to the Crossman yoke? Doesnt' look like teflon tape - looks like some kind of black paint or pipe dope or something.
Thanks again
Richard

Once you clean off what was previously there. Just some White Teflon tape is all you will require.
