Hey guys, a friend of mine picked up a few of these from Crappy Tire in Fort Erie recently. They were stupid cheap at $39.99 each, but don't seem to be branded anywhere. Just came in plain cardboard boxes with no paperwork. The cheapo scope did not come with it. Just wondering if anyone knows what it is?

Either way, for the money it seems like a really decent rifle. I also think the muzzle velocity is somewhat higher than 500fps. I have a Ruger Blackmax which is supposed to be 490fps, but this cheapo has significantly more penetrating power than the Blackmax.

Honestly, price point and overall appearance suggests a B2 variant.

That looks like the Grizzly Scout Air Rifle. I could be wrong, but it's pretty close in resemblance.

Thanks!! Yes, it's exactly the same as a B2-4

600-650fps by the looks of it. Canadian Tire could probably get in trouble for selling these without requiring a PAL.

Anyone else have one of these?

I suspect the piece of old oily fiber used as the breech seal could be replaced with the appropriate O ring- on the Grizzly. Surplus Herby's also sells them. I saw some laying on a shelf, but never looked closely enough to see the price. I did see the breech oily fiber seal on the Grizzly at PA I'd looked as some years back.

And folks buying without a PAL could get in trouble too.... would be good to get it on a Chrony.

Wonder just how de-tuned these guns have to be with all the new ammo around. The law should say 500 max with lead pellets. Chasing the latest greatest expensive high speed ammo as the under 500 fps limit is just a race to the bottom, for normal shooters otherwise. Just end up with a paint ball gun.
Breaking the law if you get a bit of dieseling after cleaning your gun too.
