Anyone have suggestions on reputable online auction sites or companies for airguns and related items? Obviously eBay, but they don't technically allow airguns. I've visited a few other sites...Invaluable is one, but they get terrible reviews.

Any other sites you have had any success with or know of being relatively safe?

I've not found any problems with Ebay. And this one is pretty decent too.....

Thanks, I've been in the airguns.net site before, usually some good guns, but the majority of sellers won't ship to Canada. Once again living north of the border makes it tough....

Ebay carries a fair amount of airgun stuff, and I've not had any problems. There is the issue of shipping to Canada from some sellers-either they think it's illegal (and scopes/optics etc. are...), or they simply want to keep their stuff in the US of A. Often an email asking the seller to ship here works, but not always. Use the Canadian site if you want better assurances of shipping (Ebay.ca), or the US site for better selection (Ebay.com).

The site below is great, and it always has an interesting supply-same issues as Ebay sometimes, though.
Look for PAbirdman's ads-he is/was a member here, and I think he's Canadian...

I found that site last week. I have sent a message to the same guy everyday for a week and still had no response. Seems sketchy to me.

US sellers can not ship optics out of the USA without an export permit. Please dont ask private sellers to ship optics as they can get in trouble for it. Many real firearms parts are good to go though.

Make sure you have a PAL/RPAL before ordering any "real" gun parts to Canada!!!

The 'cannot ship' list also includes [b]BB/pellet/airsoft/paintball guns, parts and projectiles.[b] So how is it that airgun dealers in the US do ship to Canada all the time and advertise their ability to do so?

That is not correct.

You only need a pal for receivers. Barrels, bolts, slides and so on are generally uncontrolled parts in Canada.

That is sportsmans guide policy, not law. Many retailers wont ship knives that are legal in Canada and legal for export as well.
