Hi there Airgun Forum: I am from Saint John.
Thanks for the opportunity to introduce myself to the forum as I look forward to participating on the website. While I have shot air rifle from time to time with a simple break action I was fortunate to have recently acquired a pistol. I have done some research as I do with any firearm and find the 177 a nice calibre. At the present time I plan to target shoot with the pistol and may again try the rifle to improve my accuracy. Over the years, my interest has been mainly with pre-64 lever action Winchester rifles.

Regards, Win71-348.

Welcome Win71-348. I take it you own one of those, a Winchester Model 71 in .348 - your name-sake. Beautiful rifle.
I can't compare, but recently I was able to pickup a Model 1876 in .50-95 Centennial last spring - A Uberti copy with 28" bl. - very nice and just got my zeros for 100 through 500 yard steel plates.
Bro did the same with a Uberti model 1886/71 in, .45/70. The '71' feature is the checkering and pistol grip along with incredible figure in the stock-wood. the 71 certainly are special- I share your appreciation of them. Really great moose rifles. I hope to take an elk, moose and whitetail this fall with my '76. It isn't an original but oh well, it'll have to do at $2,000.00.
Again - Welcome - good forum - great people!
