Bought a Tanfoglio 1911 witness from Kijiji for 50$. Seller seemed nice, gun looked good and I usually dont shot. I keep my guns in a display case. Recently out of curiosity I tried the gun and every other bb got jammed while the same co2 and copperhead bb (bought from princess auto 1500 for 6$) worked fine with my Russian Makarov MP-654K. i am not an expert collector, cannot filed strip or fix things. even if it does not fire, i am ok to keep the gun for look and feel. yet its bugging me that every other bb is jamming. am i doing something wrong? should i use steel bb instead of copperhead? plz help

You aren't loading the maximum amount of BB's into your magazine are you spiderman6? That's known to cause jamming.

I believe it's a general consensus that Crosman BB's are poorly made and can cause jamming in some magazines. Just take a close look at them.

Now compare them to Daisy BB's

I still use Copperhead BB's but only in my full auto BB airguns where I like to use cheap BB's.
Once I've used them up I won't buy anymore.

Copperhead BB's are garbage. Most of them look like golf balls they are so rough.

I left a bottle outside once in the rain and my Crosmans are now rusty.

Have always used Uarex BB's in all my 7 gun's and the steel force and never had a jam at all, note that I never max out the qte (usualy 15) of BB's in it and alway's lock open the slide before inserting the mag. 8)
