Back in July I headed up to visit my mother for a couple days. I brought up some of my airguns. Vantage 177 and Benjamin Multi Pump 22. I was planning on doing some hunting as well. I set up a target stand and steel gong at 25Y. I started to zero in the rifles at that range. Then the wife wanted to try. Then my step father hauled out the Buckmark URX I gave him and he tried. It was ping ping ping ping, wife and step father shooting the gong. I think the wife went thru a hold tin of pellets. Avg around 5-6". Not bad for not really ever shooting.

Everybody was smiling and so was mom.

When I got home my wife started to talk about it. So I said do you want your own air gun? She said SURE. So I picked up her a Crosman Raven for now. Stoeger X3 is next. Then my mother called. Said Pat ( my step father ) really wants a nice air rifle. So I said I'll find him one. Sure enough I went on internet started to search.. I was going to grab him a Vantage/Optima from D&L till I went on walmart.ca website and Ruger Airhawk with scope for 99$. SOLD cost me 114$ to my door. WOW wood is nicer than my Vantage. Smoother cocking and better trigger then my stock vantage. I have a GTXII trigger in it now.

So my step father should be really happy about the Ruger. I enjoy it. I'm just worried that wont be anything for me to hunt when I go up now.
