What's your opinion/experience regarding that scope? I want to use it on a QB78D rifle, so no recoil to endure.

Seems reasonable to me, as long you're ok with the cost. Being a CO2 gun you can of course use whatever scope you like, as long as parallax is taken into consideration, adjustable or corrected. I do not have any Weaver scopes so I can't speak for them but it seems they have a good rep in the firearms community, at least in the old days.
I just bought a couple UTG/Leapers 3-12x44AO, a regular and short version. Not really AO since it's side adj but they still call it AO. My point is side wheel adj is super nice over front lens adj, so much so that I'm tempted to lose all my front AO's and buy more side adj.
So if by chance you haven't tried side, I suggest you do rather than find out later you wish you had bought one.
I'm a bit tight with scope $ so I held off on side for years, but now they're getting pretty reasonable.

Thanks for the infos, Chevota! I should have mentioned I already have it. I'm actually very happy with the cost, since it was given to me by a cool fellow  . I only had to add some rings and caps (about 40$ CDN + txs.) And I have your guide you kindly sent me, and the front lens can be adjusted by unscrewing the lock ring, so parallax correction is possible.

I may eventually buy a side adj. scope, I'd really like to try that.
