Now I have one too! Mine started its life as a ''standard'' CP88, I bought the 6'' barrel kit from DLAirgun (just received it today) and converted it to a Competition. Pretty straightforward and easy conversion. Haven't shot it yet, but can't wait for the week-end to try it out :)

Thanks :)

I've been doing 10 hrs of overtime today so no chance to try it yet :hsmash The in-hand feeling is really good, I find it's better balanced with the compensator. Will see when I get some target time.

I HOPE to be able to empty those seven mags tomorrow  That would be nice to be able to chrony the two configurations in SA/DA too.

Another busy day, but fortunately I had the opportunity to get some trigger time :)

I went outside, the sun was shining and the temp was around 14°C, with some light wind. I chronied the CP88 at 382 fps average (with the 6'' barrel), a bit low but at this temperature I guess it's normal. Also tried some pellets to see what it likes: the RWS Hobby 7 grains wadcutters, the JSB Exact RS 7.3 grains domed, and the Crosman Premier Supermatch 7.9 grains wadcutters. Shot at 7 meters (with my shaky tired hands  ), the 8-shots groups are not that good, but I need practice (and rest). The JSB Domed gave the best results, closely followed by the Rws Hobby. Don't regret at all buying the barrel/compensator, the pistol is indeed very well balanced, and very pleasant to shoot!

I like the JSB Exact RS 7.3 grains domed also - especially in my Daisy 953 - but I go for lighter option typically for my CP88. I do like shooting domed though...
