Very little time as usual guys, trying to install my floor in %80 of our bungalow.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with a very deep "honeydew" list. . . .

What did you guys want them made in material wise? Someone want to make a quick drawing? I can quickly put it through cad and cam. Obviously, aluminum cuts fast, light, strong and can be anodized. Brass cuts fast, but it's heavy and expensive. Steel is stronger, but cuts slower. Stainless is strong, cuts even slower, but I can also black it.

Michael

Prefer any but brass, but if that's what's voted for; I'll acquiesce . . . . Drilled for factory roll pin, and then I can address if/as required.
Depending on final pricing, 1x 13xx(sight pin) and 1x Backpacker(sightless).

Can't wait to have more MichaelL hardware! Bring it! 8)

I work 57-60hrs a week at the regular job and am installing flooring on most of my main level, so this is clearly a side project.
So far I started designing the part and starting designing a holding fixture.

I won't, I enjoy this stuff. If I win the lottery I'll quit the full time job and enjoy the hobby.

Created a basic part in Cad, then designed the holding fixture. I'll review the drawing tonight and get CAM started as well if I have time. I might be able to run the fixture on the CNC tomorrow.

I was thinking about a setscrew on both sides to lock both the barrel, the tube and hold the band firmly in place. But I'm not that far yet. I did cut most of the fixture.
