Wondering if anyone had ordered from Pyramid arms before. In particular, charges incurred at customs etc. Items I am looking at are made USA so NAFTA should work

I did once, never again. They ship ups and collect duties and taxes and surcharges brokerage fees, at the door. Not cheap.

This. I did the same....once.

I refuse to deal with UPS at all, and cancelled our account at work. Nothing but a shaft job and they refused to let me use our customs broker.

The bastards also sent a collection agency after me for 30 bucks I didn't even know I owed them. Ordered a few Grave Digger Monster Truck jackets for Christmas presents a few years ago, 3 of them, maybe 400 bucks CAD. prepaid everything supposedly, jackets were dropped off without a sig obtained (!!!) by a stupid driver.

The shill agency for UPS (RMS I think) dunned me for 30 bucks after I already paid all the UPS garbage fee's. You gotta pick your fights, so I just paid it. Principles be damned.

Oh, you should pay attention to the warranty claims on a lot of stuff from Pyramid...United States only.

Many people have had good experiences with Pyramid Air. Their selection and prices are good (although our Canadian dollar is not), and they are efficiently set up to ship to Canada those products they preclear with Canadian Customs. Near the end of the online transaction, before you must commit, all costs for exchange and shipping are itemised so you know your total cost for the transaction.

While a few have reported UPS Canada sometimes tries to ding you for additional fees, I have not experienced that personally. Also, after going through the transaction process, most people find that costs in Canada are pretty much equal to the gross amount you pay Pyramid. The advantage of buying from Pyramid, of course, is their vast selection of guns that takes us forever (if ever) to see on this side of the border.

If you have a problem, Pyramid will do everything possible to make it right. I've had only one warranty issue involving them, and they did not hesitate to honour it.

Look for the banner that says, "Ships to Canada."
