Just got off the phone with Travis.
Streamline is slated to be here end of January, early Feb, depending on customs.
Synthetic and walnut, pepper laminate on back order.
No shrouds :shock:
Asked if the shrouds could be ordered, he'll look into it. Hope so.
Prices are decent.

Hmm I was leaning away from the pepper laminate anyways. No shroud? Suppose one could be fabbed up easy enough but I would prefer a factory part. Keep the colour matching as close as possible. Just have to decide on a scope.

2017 is going to be fun.

I think we need as consumers to push for the shroud, it doesn't have to have baffles.

That's precisely my reservation when deciding whether to get the "shrouded" Brocock or not last time I was in Phoenix. The Streamline was not available that time... would have love to bring home one ... ;-)

Too Bad the laminate is on back order. I would like to get one, but I think the synthetic will do for now!! :P

Travis has a laminate 400 or 500 can't remember, and says the laminate is quite soft and takes pressure marks quite easily...... Must be the blend of wood.

Thanks Peter for the heads up. This is good to know!! I guest I better just stick with synthetic stock and is cheaper too. :oops:
