Hiya - Just got a Daisy gas 415 Pistol via Amazon $38! stoked! Also got an old little daisy kids bb plinker that I fixed and also a generic pellet rifle that I found in the dump and made a stock for- all work but still got to fire the pistol but its raining here- the pistol is listed as 495 fps and has a rail for laser and want to use it to practice hip shots
Been years since I plinked so am glad to be getting back to it
Hav a 22 semi rifle but its hard to find a place to shoot round here that wont disturb all the nature buffs
Still confused about conceal carry as th gov't seems to consider it a weapon or firearm- just want to carry in a back pack for casual shooting and avoid officious cops and game wardens
cheers all
my wife thinks I am reverting when plinking from our porch You cant take the country out of the boy! lol

Nice buy - the Daisy Powerline 415 is a powerful little steel BB pistol that really blasts holes in those tin cans!

Enjoy...

Welcome, Jimney. Hope you get "things" sorted out.

Personally, I would have a zippered case for carrying the air pistol on the rear seat, in the vehicle - when in your possession, no other carry is necessary - no trigger lock, etc.

If I went back packing (like 30years ago) it would go into my back-pack or if I wanted, simply worn on my right hip, holstered.

Should qualify that - if in an area where there are 'other' hikers - do not carry it on your hip - keep it in your pack until you are alone - or you would likely end up being the 'target' of an investigation - as soon as other hikers saw you and reported "man with a gun".
