Somebody have experience on this?
What should I know to sell non restricted air rifle to potential USA buyer?
Will buyer pay taxes / duties and how much approximately?
What should I declare when shipping?
Thanks for any info!

Is it a P.A.L. rifle?

If so, will require someone with an FFL to send it for you.

Daryl, what's an FFL? And yes, it's a non-restricted, but PAL-rated gun (I happen to know). And this is going from Canada TO the United States, just to clarify.

FFL - Federal firearms License - May also need a Firearms Export Permit - not sure about air guns as they are not regulated in the States as far as I know, but then - their Home Land Security has been getting really restrictive lately. Should perhaps contact the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) - for a ruling - best to get their words on this.

I shipped an pal air rifle this summer with no trouble.
I contacted the atf and they replied that airguns are not considered firearm. What you need to verify are the states and county laws to where you ship.
On the package you need to specify the model . POwerplant and caliber plus theyre is a code that us customs use to classify the type of airgun/toy. You have to check the code i dont remember it sorry.

I shipped 3 airguns in the states no problem but make sure the package is well documented on the outside of the box
I hope it can help.
N.b. you would need to check for pcps . As they re is a pressure vessel involved

I bought one last year from a Canadian member here. It was NOT PAL. Good chap! I sent an international M/O for payment, which he was able to cash into CAD at your postal office. Then he just filled out something on the parcel, from what I recall. I got it w/o any issue via our US Mail system on this end.
