Most people know the C96 Mauser "Broomhandle". Behold! I present the Hatsan 25 Broomhandle...
I've got a dovetail to Weaver rail with a red dot attached plus a 1" flashlight mount that receives the "custom skeleton stock". Okay, it's a painted broomhandle...
It works reasonably well though the the offset sight line is not ideal and I am concerned the wobble that happens when I break the barrel will put a bit of stress on all the mounts on mounts.
I have not tried taking this pistol apart (mainly because I really like it and don't want to risk mucking it up when springs and things ping around the room) but I wonder, has anyone taken the handle off and would there be a possibility to fit something like a proper Crosman stock to whatever is underneath?
Alternatively, anyone else got any ideas (short of buying the Supertactical carbine version) to put make/fit some sort of stock?

This is what I did with mine. I love shooting it this way, so do my grandkids ages10 and 11. with a shoulder stock it is surprisingly accurate.

That's excellent; I remember seeing that before now. I am getting decent accuracy with the dot sight and can well imagine how good it is with a proper scope.
Short of crafting a new stock like that which is beyond my capabilities, what do you remember of the innards and the possibility to attach something to the frame if the grip comes off? I have tried searching for a parts break-down diagram but been unable to find anything.
