The 1322 is your best bet. With one simple upgrade you can reach up to 700 fps. Upgraded high pressure valves. Then aside from the u can upgrade everything else. If your not a fan of pumping go 2300kt. It's a good starting base to upgrade to a well performing varmint shooter

I'm going to get the tri rail as well to help with mounting a scope. Not sure if anyone here has used the tri rail but it seems to get very positive reviews in general.

I'm considering getting the micrometer tank as well down the road to turn down the fps for close range plinking.

Just to let you know, purchase a spare valve stem and set at 0.042-0.048 spacing is far cheaper then a micro tank. All your adjustments for lower power can be done with the power adjustment wheel.

Would this do the trick?

I'll keep looking for the new valve stem at the specs you suggested, thanks.

1322 shooting at 700 fps would be a restricted firearm requiring registration and legally only allowed to be shot at the range.

Technically you can get a stock up past 600 aswell just buy pumping 20 times or more. Does that mean you have to register a gun that you can buy without a pal. And the valves only reduce the chance of blowing your tank while doing higher pumps. It's not really a performance enhancer as more then a safety precaution. The gun is already capable. I just suggested the valve so you can go higher in pumps safer. You could always go 10 and keep it 460fps

I believe that a 1322 is a pistol - so anything over 500 fps means that you require an R-PAL to own/shoot it.

It is only supposed to be pumped up 10 times MAX - so that is how it is rated at under 500 fps from the factory...

The 1322 I had and gave away, if pumped 10 times, would leak a certain amount - about equivalent to 8 pumps. At 8 pumps it would hold, at 9 it would gas off a bit. SSSS As it shot the same at 8 pumps as if pumped 9 or 10 times and allowed to bleed, it seemed 8 was the holding limit for the gun. I never chrono'd it,so have no idea what it held. I used to use it at night on Prowl Shift at the jail for discouraging the wild cats from sitting on our motorcycles.
I found the air pistol (had a shoulder stock and 1888 Mauser adjustable sights on it) worked on the cats for a short period of time only. A .38SPL. model 1950 S&W worked better, but my M29 was best. The .44 going off at 1 to 4AM would wake the whole jail up - 150 inmates - every one on edge - lol - I REALLY liked some aspects of working there, but eventually I burnt out & had to switch Ministries to Forestry.
Funny thing, they wouldn't even look at the fence when I was in the tower.
