Hi All

This is my newest gun.

Image

The stock is a modified Optimus stock, action is Quest, with a PAL Vantage spring. (I actually installed a .177 Nitro Venom barrel at one point because I like the smooth/no bolt holes top of the breech block, but the breech block pivot hole to breech block face distance was about .008" too short.)

So do I have a Questantageus or an Optiquestage, or what?

Suggestions?

Peter :D

How do you like the UTG rear sight?

I love the UTG rear sight. Most of my rifles have one.

I "finger turn" a 7/16" drill bit inside the hole to remove any shine, and the copper piece (3/4" copper pipe is all) painted flat black on the inside prevents any other reflections.

I know that being fixed to the "action" instead of the breech block creates a possible issue, but I prefer them to the standard rear sights, and anyway, scopes fit on the action too.

And I like the nice clean look. :D

Thanks, I was looking at them to replace the crooked plastic rear sight.

I got a Van Trail. Vantage with a Benjamin Trail Stock.

Yes good. Done.

Except for tweaking right? I mean, it's always ok to tweak right?
