I have a Grizzly Predator air rifle and I bought an Aim Sports 4x32 scope. It's rings are approximately 5/8 of an inch but the Predator seems to have approximately 1/2 inch groves... so it doesn't fit.

Anyone know what type and size rings I need? I bought the scope from amazon.ca. The scope tube is 1 inch diameter.

Thanks... Steve

You need 11mm scope rings for a 1" scope.

Hey Steve man, what's the scope like? Is it the Mil-Dot version? I was comparing that with a Simmons and Swiss Arms all in the same price range on Amazon and in the end went for the Swiss Arms. It's out of stock though so I have to wait or cancel and maybe get the Aim...

By the way, you can also get Picatinny to dovetail adaptors that are quite good but you are obviously better off getting proper rings. The best ones (especially for a springer) are Sportsmatch UK. They will cost you about the same as the scope and while it looks like you are on a budget, you will have the best rings for the future if you decide to upgrade your kit. Just a thought.

Yep, it's the Mil-Dot version. I just now ordered the right rings for the scope... and it costs 3/4 of what I paid for the scope. They'd better be made of Gold.
